Description: Do you have experience with the “Big Rigs”? Have you been an OTR driver and don’t like the time away from home? Maybe your OTR days are behind you but you would still like to get behind the wheel of a truck. Do you know your way around a tractor/trailer when it comes to general maintenance? Most importantly, do you have a valid Class A CDL and are you looking for a great opportunity? If you answered yes to these questions, now is the time to put your experience to work with a part time job. A local truck leasing company has openings for “Hikers”. Successful candidates will drive trucks from customers’ location to shop. You will assist mechanics with general maintenance as needed and wash trucks as needed. Every other weekend, you will separate tractor from trailer and grease the 5th wheel. This is a great opportunity for a current local driver with afternoons and weekends free. It might be just what a retired OTR driver is looking for. Maybe you are just getting in the job ma rket and this is a start for you. Requirements: Class A CDL is a must, also a High School diploma or GED, and a good work ethic
Hours: On call Tuesday – Friday 12:00pm – 8:00 pm (usually 4pm -8pm) Saturday 8:00am – 4:30 pm
Salary: $8-$10 Per Hour DOE
